1 oz. Resealable Kraft Pouch

Chamomile is a popular herb known for its calming and relaxing properties.  The dried flowers of the chamomile plant have a delicate, slightly sweet flavor.  Many people enjoy it before bed as a natural sleep aid.  Beyond its potential sleep benefits, some also believe chamomile can help with digestion and anxiety.

Rose petals have a delicate, floral flavor and is often enjoyed for its potential health benefits and calming properties. Rose petals contain antioxidants that can help protect your body against cell damage. The aroma of rose petals are believed to have a calming effect, potentially reducing anxiety and stress.

Rose petals have been traditionally used to help with digestion and stomach issues. Some studies suggest that rose petals help reduce menstrual cramps and discomfort. The antioxidants and vitamins in rose petals may contribute to healthy skin.

Lavender is well-known for its calming and relaxing properties, and is often enjoyed before bedtime to promote sleep.  The aroma of lavender is a key part of its appeal, offering a soothing and floral scent.  Beyond its potential sleep benefits, some people use lavender to help with anxiety, stress, and even headaches.

To prepare as tea:

Bring water to a near boil. Avoid a rolling boil, as this can damage the delicate flavor of the rose petals. Around 200-212°F (93-100°C) is ideal. If you don't have a thermometer, let the water boil and then let it sit for a minute or two to cool slightly.

Place the dried florals in a teapot or mug. A general guideline is about 1-2 teaspoons of tea blend per cup of water, but you can adjust this to your taste.

Pour the hot water over the tea blend. Cover the teapot or mug to keep the heat in and allow the flavors to infuse.

Steep for 5-7 minutes. You can steep longer for a stronger flavor, but be careful not to oversteep, as it can become bitter. Strain the tea to remove the herbs.

Add honey, lemon, or other sweeteners to taste.

The fragrance of the tea blend is part of the experience. Take a moment to appreciate the floral scent as you sip.
